Khaled Taha, DDS, MS
Dr. Taha, a devoted and skilled orthodontist, is committed to providing compassionate patient care while employing the latest orthodontic and dental techniques. He is an experienced dentist and a certified and skilled orthodontist with expertise in dentistry, orthodontics, and dentofacial orthopedics. He has successfully treated thousands of patients, addressing a full spectrum of oral health needs, from early-phase orthodontics to complex facial and skeletal deformities.
He pursued his orthodontic residency at the University at Buffalo in New York, a prestigious institution renowned for dental education.
Dr. Taha was nominated in 2017 as the resident research winner of the North-Eastern Society of Orthodontics (NESO).
He is a Board-Certified Orthodontist with a profound dedication to orthodontic practice. He is actively involved in professional associations, including the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Lingual Orthodontic Association (ALOA).
Dr. Taha proudly calls Houston home. He appreciates the warmth and supportiveness of the community and is enthusiastic about contributing his extensive expertise to serve the local populace.
When Dr. Taha isn’t crafting new smiles, he delights in quality time with his wife and two sons, honing his tennis skills, and cycling alongside friends.
Mohammed Al Azzawi, DDS, MS, MS, PHD
Dr. Al Azzawi is board certified, a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) and a nationally and internationally outstanding trained specialist. He is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO) and the American Dental Association® (ADA).
He has more than 20 years of experience practicing dentistry and orthodontics, including several years in academia. He has won multiple awards and has extensive publications in peer-reviewed United States and international scientific journals in fields of orthodontics, dentistry, lasers in dentistry, cell culturing, molecular biology, and genetics.
Dr. Al Azzawi started his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering. Then, he received his dental degree and master’s degree in laser dentistry from the University of Baghdad College of Dentistry.
He received his doctoral degree (PhD) with his first specialty training in orthodontics from the University of Science Malaysia.
On top of that, he completed his postdoctoral studies and second specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from the prestigious Eastman Institute for Oral Health.
He accomplished his additional master’s degree in health professionals education from the University of Rochester Warner School of Education.
In his spare time, Dr. Al Azzawi enjoys kayaking, hiking, and cooking with his two boys.
